Vehicle Ready Checklist for an efficient shipment of your vehicle

  • The vehicle must be in running condition unless your booking clearly states you notified us the vehicle is not running as additional fees due apply for non-operable vehicles and the correct carrier truck must be sent to handle not running vehicles.
  • Must advise us if the vehicle has any special modifications such as a camper shell, a 4 x 4 lift kit, lower clearance, etc.
  • Height and Ground Clearance: You vehicle may not exceed 7′ in height and must have a minium of 4′ ground clearance to load and unload safely into the car carrier.
  • Gas tank must have a minimum 1/4 tank of fuel, but no more than 1/2 tank of fuel.
  • Alarm systems need to be disconnected.
  • A clean vehicle improves the quality of the inspection.
  • Remove any accessories not built in the vehicle. Such as cassette decks, CD players, Car phones, garage door opener, E-Z, Sunpass or any other Toll tag passes decals
  • Antennas must be fully retracted or removed
  • Personal items must be removed
  • The contact people you designated for pick up and delivery must be present for the inspection to confirm vehicle’s condition. This must be done at the time of pick up and or delivery before driver leaves.
  • Vehicle must have no obvious fluid leaks,
  • Driver side door and window must work properly
  • Your vehicle must have working brakes. If your vehicle has a manual transmission, it must also have a working emergency brake.
  • Your battery must be secure in the mounting bracket.
  • All exterior spare tire covers grill covers, or car covers must be removed.
  • Plants, hazardous materials, and firearms are forbidden by law to be transported.
  • One set of ALL keys for the vehicle must be provided.
  • Non-permanent luggage racks, bike racks, or ski racks must be removed.
  • Your vehicle must be prepared for the new climate. This may include engine coolant, transmission oil, and other fluids.
